Debut 15th Anniversary

For young women in Brazil, their 15th birthday is a big milestone. Similar to “sweet sixteen”, Brazilians celebrate girls their 15th year with deep rooted traditions, customs and expectations. It’s the introduction of young women to society. A “debutante ball” is often part of the celebration where girls waltz with important men in their lives.
In August 2022, our dance school reached its 15th birthday and this year’s dance show is the celebration. To mark this milestone, we’re celebrating with some of our favourite choreographies through the years, some new ones and special waltzes.
